Activities and Small Groups

Book Club meets approximately monthly to discuss a recent book, generally fiction in light of its spiritual insight. All are welcome. Please contact the office or check our announcements webpage for more details.

Chit Chat and Charity is a fellowship of women who gather together periodically for good conversation and  good food.   We meet at a host home.   The host makes a main dish and takes care of beverages, while the rest bring a dish to share.   The women range in age from 18 to 90.  We never know how many will attend, but we always have enough food and fun to go around.    At the end of the evening, each woman contributes $10.00 and we decide which charity will receive the contribution.   Contributions have gone to large organizations and to smaller, more local fundraisers.   Date and location are in the church bulletin  and we provide directions to the host home.  Ladies, please join us! 

Creative Call meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm in the Grace Church Parish Halland is open to all who wants to explore their creative side.  Each meeting begins with a short devotion followed by some type of activity.  Program highlights from this past year have included a workshop on making prayer beads lead by Sr. Julian; the Lenten book study, Prayer of the HeART by Kelly Schneider; the assembly of cookie jar kits to sell at the Grace Flea Market; and creating Celtic interlace & its use as a prayer devotion. We are currently cutting and sewing baby quilt for Christiana Hospital. All are welcome.
